Bring Me To Life – New Fiction in the works!

After more than 13 years I’ve started writing again and I picked up a story I started back in 2010. It’s a gritty, dark, sexy modern fairytale – a Sleeping Beauty reboot inspired by sex, drugs & rock n’ roll!

Back in 2010 I was inspired by Evanescence’s song of the same name as well as a love for classic rock bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Guns N’ Roses, Fleetwood Mac and many more.

This novel is a mix of suspense, romance, romantasy, part historical fiction (loosely) and part modern day drama. I’m giving it a rating of R for explicit language, violence, sex and drugs.

A dark and sexy modern day fairytale

When regular guy Henry Aaronson lays eyes on the girl of his dreams at the museum, there’s just one problem, she’s lying in an elaborate coffin perfectly preserved and she’s been dead for more than 1,000 years. 

Or is she? When he’s visited by a mysterious old man who tells him that he needs to bring Anaelyn back to life from an ancient curse, Henry scoffs at the very idea of magic. That is until he’s forced to grapple with his deepest beliefs when he finds himself violently transported to the past. 

As Henry navigates his distant and not-so-distant past, what will he have to do to end the curse and bring a broken and self-destructive Ana back to life? Can he convince her of their true connection and who she really is before it’s too late?

Set in the distant past and present day, Bring Me To Life is a dark sultry Sleeping Beauty reboot inspired by sex, drugs and rock n’ roll.
