Multifaceted

It hurts
This duality

Soul and body
Mind and spirit

Do you know who I am?
I am many, I am one

Have you judged me yet?
I am the dark and the light

Polarizing, I am opposites

Do you know my struggles?
My fight, my bravery,

The fear, the euphoria

Do you feel my pain?
As I hurt, break

Fall and fly

Have you seen the facets?
Like a diamond

Glittering and strong

All the star points of me

From each side I appear
as a different soul

Am I beautiful? Do I shine?
Am I dirty, do I fade?

Gathering
There is also darkness

Black
Harrowing
The agent of angst

Of change

Do I shock you?
Choice words, crying out
The truth behind the spaces
In each line

Can you hear me?
My song, as I echo
Me back to me

Do you feel me?
In the angles, the planes?
Sharp, I cut

Will you turn away?
From that facet

Do you know there are many
So many
But you see one

I wear me, like garments, each
A mask or an explosion

A reveal
What do you find?

Darkness or light
Fear or bravery
Hurt or joy

I am one, I am many
