Be “Real” With Me

reality-blog-awardI was nominated for the Reality Blogger award by Time to Write.  It’s sweet to be nominated (Seriously Thank you!), and although I’m not a very good team player, I’m gonna be a good sport and answer some fun questions!

If you could change something, what would you change?

I would change my day job.  I want to do something more creative.  I want to be a graphic designer, a writer, someone paid to be creative.

If you could repeat an age, what age would it be?

I wish I could repeat my late teen/early twenties (Gimme that body back now!), but ONLY if I could take the knowledge I have now back with me.  I think it would be amazing to be more confident than I was then.  Being ridiculously self-conscious seems like a waste of time to me now.

What one thing really scares you?

One small thing that scares me, spiders.  One big thing that scares me, the big picture, why are we here!  What is this place, the universe, our existence?  See my blog post here to understand more>>

What one dream have you not completed yet which you think you will be able to complete?

Two dreams. One is that I’d like to write a second book and lately I’ve been feeling that a project like that seems completely overwhelming to me even though I just completed one book and am published.  I always get overwhelmed at the beginning of things, but it’s the day by day that you accomplish something big like that.

Secondly, I’d like to visit England someday.  I think I can get there, restrictions and all.

If you could be someone for a day, who would you be?

It would be interesting to be a guy for day just to see how the other half lives.  I mean, they’ve got that…thing…what’s that like? 😉  Or to be someone without panic and see how free it truly can be.

I nominate:

There are too many awesome blogs out there!  I’ll name a few:

Broken Light:  A Photography Collective (Awesome blog!)

My pal Gus, over at:  Out Where the Buses Don’t Run (He has ranting skillz!)

My new Gal pal over at Katerpiller

Ok fellow bloggers, Play or don’t play. It’s up to you!

Alrighty..that’s it for me for now! Thanks for the honor of being nominated!
