I’m officially taking the pledge:
I pledge my commitment to the Blog For Mental Health 2013 Project. ย I will blog about mental health topics not only for myself, but for others. ย By displaying this badge, I show my pride, dedication, and acceptance for mental health. ย I use this to promote mental health education in the struggle to erase stigma.

I found this awesome pledge and image from A Canvas of the Minds.ย And very soon I’m going to check out their page and maybe ask if I could write for them now and then.ย Their pledge has been my pledge from the very beginning both for this blog and for myย novel.ย It’s great to find a group of bloggers out there who are trying to end the stigma associated with mental illness.ย I found this site by visiting Alice At Wonderland another cool, funny blog. I highly recommend you check it out!
Ok, next part:ย 3.) Write a short biography of your mental health, and what this means to you.
I’ve already sort of done that here so I’ll keep this short.ย I’ve been suffering from panic attacks, anxiety and depression since I was a child.ย The first time I had a panic attack is a pretty clear memory for me even though I was young.ย And as I grew up, so did my fears.ย I’ve officially been suffering for 20 years now.ย Every day is still a challenge for me to do everyday things and my life is still restricted.ย I’ve tried just about everything to combat this, including meds, drugs and alcohol and now natural methods.ย I’m hoping to stay med free even though it means a more restricted life because I don’t want to lose me behind the meds again.ย I want to stay creative, crazy me.
4.) Pledge five others, and be sure to let them know!
Ok, first is Emily, of course.ย Baby Girl Tamagotch Bowie
We are all Birds, of course

Step right up, it’s about to get crazy in the hizzy
